The Chancery Lane Project is s a collaborative initiative of international legal and industry professionals whose vision is a world where every contract enables solutions to climate change.
Much of private sector activity – professional services, procurement, supply chain management – is governed by contracts. This translates to trillions of dollars in transactions globally every year. Contracts present a mechanism for companies to take action on their climate commitments but as yet, are an untapped resource in climate action.
Our funding is supporting TCLP to grow and develop strategy to support decarbonisation of the investment sector where it can have a transformative impact: downstream emissions.
