The Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) brings the investment community together to work towards a net zero, climate resilient and nature-positive future. It creates change the world needs by unlocking investor action on climate and nature.
Nature is rising on the agendas of investors and businesses, who are recognising nature-related risks, impacts and dependencies and are beginning to make commitments to protect biodiversity. Investors need to engage with and hold companies accountable for these commitments.
IIGCC has been a leader in climate action and is now leveraging investor influence by integrating nature into its programmes, tools and initiatives. It is the host and secretariat of two leading investor collaborative engagement initiatives – Nature Action 100 (NA 100) and the Finance Sector Deforestation Action (FSDA).
Our support will help IIGCC manage and develop both initiatives, mobilising investors to establish a common high-level agenda for engagements and a clear set of expectations to drive greater corporate ambition and action on nature and biodiversity loss (NA 100) and eliminate agricultural commodity-driven deforestation risks in their investment and lending portfolios (FSDA).
